There is an old saying, if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you always got! Do you know what the definition of craziness is? It’s doing the same thing in the same way over and over again expecting a different result each time.
I have learned that you can’t draw water from a dry well. If you are not getting what you need from a certain source, then you may have to go to a different source. You may have to start listening to a different preacher on TV, or read one of his books. You may have to get some counseling. You may have to start exercising. You may have to fast. You may have to spend more time in prayer or in the word.
If your marriage is in trouble then maybe you need some marriage counseling or at least a marriage book. If your finances are in trouble you may need to start tithing or you may need to see a debt counselor. Whatever your area of struggle is, that is the type of source you need to go to. Of course more than anything, you need to pray about that.
In any case, do something different. Stir things up. Shake yourself. Wake yourself up. You can overcome, by God’s grace, you will overcome! Declare it by faith right now! I will overcome! I will overcome!
