Out of curiosity, I watched a soulwinning training video on Rodney Howard-Browne’s website, www.revival.com. They emphasize the simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ and that the gospel has power in itself which is true.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Many people get nervous and afraid of witnessing to people. They think they aren’t smart enough or anointed enough. They think they don’t know the bible well enough but here is a method that does not require a great anointing or giftings or bible knowledge.
I personally like power evangelism or prophetic evangelism but sometimes you’re not feeling very powerful or prophetic. By telling people the simple gospel of Jesus Christ you can win people to Christ. There are different ways to catch a fish; with a fishing rod, a spear, a net, or dynamite.
The method that Rodney Howard-Browne and Revival Ministries International emphasize is the simple gospel of Jesus Christ and using a soul winning script. Thousands of people have been won to the Lord this way and it can be an effective method of winning the lost.
