Today the Lord reminded me of the fact that as a man of God I am not the same as everybody else. What I mean by that is this: Most people when they think about God and their philosophies of life keep it to themselves. They think that this is the way it should be.
I have realized that I have allowed myself to go along with this thinking way too long. Just go with the flow, don’t rock the boat. But then God reminded me today that a preacher is called to preach. He is called to declare the word of God and what thus says the Lord.
Rom 10:14 says,How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Do you see that? How are they going to hear without a preacher. If you are called to preach then God doesn’t want you just fitting in and being like everybody else. God wants you to share with others those things that He puts on your heart. Not everything that God shows you does He want you to share with the world, but not nothing either.
Go forth man/woman of God and get a preach on. And when you do, don’t be apologetic about. That is what you were called to do, that is what you were born to do, that is what you will do and you will do it well!
