- Fires can be hard to start
- Starting a fire requires patience
- There are better ways to catch a fire than others.
- It helps a log to stay on fire if the other logs around it are on fire
- Once a fire is going it can’t be stopped by a little bit of nothing
- Some logs are easier to catch on fire than others, but eventually all logs can be caught on fire
- Some fires burn quickly – some can last a long time
- A fire is either getting bigger and brighter or is slowing dying
- Wood must be ready to catch on fire, it can’t be wet
- A breath of fresh air can make the flame burn brighter and brighter
- The heat of a fire can be felt from far away
- The log might not be able to touch you but the flame can
- By adding more logs to the fire you can cause the fire to burn brighter & longer
- There is point at which the fire is burning all on it’s own and doesn’t need your help. That is when you can just sit back and watch the fire.
- A fire will only go completely out if you allow it too. You can keep the fire burning as long as you keep adding more wood to the fire.
