It’s been a while since you have heard from me. I have been resting and taking more time to receive and heal and hear what the Lord has to say. I will be transitioning back into a more active state but it still may seem a bit quiet to what I was doing before.
Last year was an exciting time here in Finland. God was doing so much and I really sensed that God really was doing something. The fact is He really was doing something. He was preparing those people who are hungering for a great move of God in the nation of Finland.
To very open and honest, I was expecting something really big to happen. I stepped out in faith and even though everything I did was not done perfectly, I do believe that God led me to do most of what I did. What did I do? Well I started a Revival for Finland Facebook group, I coordinated a David Tomberlin Finland Revival tour, I began speaking for an Internet Television Program, I started sending emails, I created a website informing people of what God was doing here in Finland.
I was quite busy and eventually I needed to take time to rest. I needed time to receive ministry for myself. I am doing better now. I have a new fresh hope. I haven’t given up on Finland and I know that God hasn’t either. I have seen hungry people here in Finland go after God with all their heart. God sees those, you, who crying out to God, please send revival to Finland! and He will.
Before revival can ever happen the people must confront those things that are standing in the way of revival, as individuals, as churches, and even as a nation. There are no shortcuts and please God forgive me for trying to taking some. There is too much passivity here. You can’t accomplish anything great in life without stepping out in faith and taking risks.
Be encouraged friends. God is no respector of persons, what He will do for one nation He will for another if the proper steps and actions are taken. Is it God’s will for Finland to have a Revival? That’s not the question to ask but rather is it you, the leaders of this country, is it your will? It’s not His will that any perish. He gave us the great commission two thousands years ago…what are we waiting for?
I want to end this message with this passage of scripture. May it be so for the nation of Finland…taken from 35th chapter of Isaiah
Isa 35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
Isa 35:2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
Isa 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Isa 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Isa 35:6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
Isa 35:7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
Isa 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
Isa 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
Isa 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
