Jesus said, “ Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do…” (John 14:13). Take your desire to lose weight to the Lord. Know that God wants you to be healthy and lose weight even more than you do. God knows that you are much more valuable to him healthy with energy and vitality rather than unhealthy, tired, and depressed.
Listen to Worship Music While Exercising
One of my favorite things to do is run through the forest listening to anointed, powerful worship. The serotonin is being released in my brain because of the running and my heart and soul is being invigorated by the power of the Holy Spirit – all at the same time! I feel the energy of God as I run and it is truly one of the things I love to do.
Study Scriptures About Health
Something that I have learned that really feeds my spirit as well as provides lasting health benefits is to study Scriptures that pertain to health. The bible has so much to say about health; by reading these scriptures you will benefit directly towards your health and wellness goals. The truth of God’s word is powerful! I recommend memorizing some of what I call “health” scriptures and saying them out loud while you exercise.
